If You Loved Her…{NEW POEM}

If You Loved Her...

A man doesn’t treat a woman like anything
You respect her
From her body, feelings, the relationship, career and sexually
Love everything about her
The thing about it is most of you don’t get it
You think being a “pimp” is it
It’s not, your mother wouldn’t want to be disrespected
Therefore don’t do it to her
A way to a woman’s her is easy
If you loved her

Playing games
Telling lies
Being someone your not around others
Being a little boy instead of a man
Putting her in situations that’s not cool
Putting everything and everybody else in front of her
Insulting her just boost yourself
Accusing just to comfort yourself
You make more of the situation than it is
To be honest you are the one feeling ashamed

Just because your ex did you wrong
Just because someone from your past fucked you up emotionally
Don’t mean you gotta go around belittling others
That you have a right to hurt her
How about you try to understand her?
Before somebody else get her…
How about you try to respect her
Getting to know her inside and out
That’s what it’s all about!
Love her until she shouts

There’s nothing wrong with being a real gentlemen
That’s the difference between a boy and a man
If you don’t get it
Dust yourself off and try again
It feels good when somebody loves you back
If you ever wondered how it feels not to have the love returned back
Just put the shoe on the other foot
I think that’s well put
Love is not meant to hurt and you’d understand
If you loved her…
